Lincolnshire born Lily Gaskell began performing live around her hometown of Grantham from the age of 11 and went on to study Music at Lincoln College before moving to London in 2010. After playing in various bands, running music sessions and workshops for kids and getting her Undergraduate and Masters Degrees in Music, Lily landed in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Fuelled by her experiences down south, she began making a name for herself as a protest singer songwriter, working with Pontefract born Poet, Ian Everett, to release her debut E.P 'Love, Rats and Porletariats' in 2015. Lily, dubbed 'Acoustic Folk Punk' has just released two new songs in aid of We Shall Overcome and can be downloaded here.
